The Calathea Makoyana, also known as the Peacock Plant, is a striking tropical houseplant celebrated for its intricate, artistic foliage. Its broad, oval leaves feature a translucent light green background adorned with dark green, feather-like patterns that mimic the elegance of a peacock’s plumage. The underside of the leaves has a contrasting purplish-red hue, adding a vibrant touch to its overall beauty. Known for its rhythmic movements, the leaves of this "prayer plant" fold upward in the evening and unfold in the morning, making it a dynamic addition to any indoor garden.

Care Guide:

1. Light:

   • Prefers bright, indirect light to maintain its vibrant leaf patterns.
   • Tolerates lower light levels but grows best with consistent filtered light.
   • Keep away from direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
