The Calathea Sanderiana, commonly known as the Rattlesnake Plant, is a striking tropical plant known for its long, narrow leaves with bold, green patterns resembling the markings of a rattlesnake. Its intricate leaf design, which features purple undersides and light green stripes on the upper surface, adds a unique and dramatic touch to any indoor space. This plant is native to the rainforests of South America and is part of the Maranta family, making it a "prayer plant" that folds its leaves at night and unfurls them during the day.

Care Guide:

1. Light:

   • Prefers bright, indirect light for optimal growth.
   • Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate leaves.
   • It can tolerate lower light conditions but may grow more slowly in such environments.

2. Watering:

   • Water regularly to keep the soil evenly moist but not soggy.
   • Allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering.
