Care Instructions:

1. Light Requirements:

   • Polyscias Fabian thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some low light conditions but prefers bright, filtered sunlight for optimal growth.
   • Avoid placing the plant in direct sunlight, as the harsh rays can scorch the leaves, leading to yellowing or browning.
   • A north or east-facing window is ideal for this plant, or you can place it in a spot with plenty of filtered light throughout the day.

2. Watering:

   • Water your Polyscias Fabian regularly but allow the top 1-2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings.
   • It's important to avoid overwatering, as root rot can occur if the plant is left sitting in water for too long. Ensure the pot has good drainage to allow excess water to escape.
   • During winter, when the plant is not actively growing, reduce watering and let the soil dry out a bit more before watering again.

3. Soil:

   • Use a well-draining, fertile potting mix to plant your Polyscias Fabian. A regular houseplant mix should work, but you can improve drainage by adding perlite or sand.

   • You can achieve this by mistings the leaves, placing the plant near a humidifier, or placing it on a tray of pebbles filled with water.
   • Polyscias Fabian can tolerate average humidity but thrives in more humid conditions, so keep the air around it relatively moist.

6. Fertilizing:

   • Feed your Polyscias Fabian with a balanced, liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season (spring and summer).
   • In the fall and winter months, when the plant is in a dormant phase, reduce or stop fertilizing.
